I am sharing an article some one forwarded to me:

Keep Praying for the Tosher Rebbe

Last night I received several worrisome alerts on my phone from KolTosh on Twitter regarding the Tosher Rebbe.

These are the sort of statements I read with dread:

The Rebbe's breathing is very bad. High fever. His children are with him in the hospital. Lungs filled with water. Critical. Blood pressure dropping. Doctors say we need a miracle. Only prayer can help. A minyan flew to Hungary to pray by the graves of the Rebbe's predecessors. On a respirator. The Holy Ark in the Rebbe's shul is open for an emergency prayer session.

And then.... the Rebbe's condition is stable.

Then.... this morning, a text that the Rebbe made it through the night with miracles, that his situation is stable.

Then... a little while ago, a message that the next seventy-two hours are important; only prayer can help.

My holy friends, the body and soul of a Yid are not bound by the laws of nature, no matter how desperate the situation seems. We are to never despair.

Prayer changes reality.

Usually it's the only thing that ever can.

The Tosher Rebbe שליט״א is one of the few pre-war Admorim in our midst, a tzaddik like those of previous generations. Implore the heavens for the recovery of משולם פייש בּן צירל. Talk to Hashem in your own words, even for just thirty seconds, asking for the Rebbe to be well. Say a few chapters of Psalms. Take on a mitzva in the merit of his recovery.

His entire life the Rebbe deeply felt and cried over the pain of every Yid! As the Rebbe suffers let us now cry out to Hashem for his own yissurim to end through a speedy and complete recovery!

We still need him among us, down here below.

Watch a video below of the Rebbe making a blessing over bread. I think it has no business being on the internet, that it was probably recorded and posted without his permission, but now that it's up there's much to gain witnessing the tzaddik praising his Maker, cleaving unto Him through a "simple" blessing we typically rattle off.

Most of us make blessings in order to eat. You get the distinct impression the Rebbe eats in order to make the blessing

News: Beautiful Nights of Chanuka & Big Wedding of Rebbe's Grand-Grand Children

Sorry for not updating regularly

Please undersatnd, this is a private hobby, and at time other matters take the little free time on my hands.

The Rebbe is in Florida for the winter, he came home for Chanuka, and to attend the wedding of his 2 eldest grand-grand children. Grand Children of the Rebbe's Son-In-Law & Daughter Rabbi & Rebbetzin Fisch Rebbe of Hadas, & grand children of the Rebbe's Fisch of Salka & Kohn of Sanjortz.

Every night of Chanuka was big spiritual celebrations every evening as the Rebbe lighted the Menorah a huge crowd attended and took the opportunity to see the Rebbe and get his Brochah.

The Wedding took place this week Sunday Dec. 20 in Kiryas Tosh. Thousends came by plane-bus-car from near and far to take part with the Rebbe on this beautiful Simcha.

The Rebbe returned to Florida on Tuesday evevning and will stay till Before Purim.

Watching the Rebbe light the menorah every night that was followed by Dveikus Songs and a masterpiece choir of the Boys and Bocherim of tosh singing Mo'ez Tzur.

after which the hundreds of guests that arrived every night had the opportunity to wish the Rebbe A Freilichen Chanuka and received the Rebbe's blessing back in return.

on the Eights day of chanuka, the Rebbe lead a Tish
after the singing, and then gave out blessed Chanuka Gelt.

On Thursday, June 19 Yehuda Eliezer Zvi Kahane will marry Lipsha Miriam, daughter of Rabbi Yaakov Dovid Segelbaum, Flatbush Vienner Rav; son of Rabbi Chaim Hersh Segelbaum, Flatbush Vienner Rebbe; son of Rabbi Yaakov Yisroel Segelbaum, zt”l, Vienner Rav in Boro Park. Rabbi Yaakov Dovid Segelbaum is a son-in-law of Rabbi Yesochor Dov Berish Horowitz, Spinka Rebbe in Williamsburg (d. 2006); son of Rabbi Shmuel Zvi Horowitz, zt”l (1921-1997), greatly beloved Spinka Rebbe, lovingly referred to as Reb Hershele Spinka; son of Rabbi Avrohom Abish Horowitz, zt”l Hy”d (1897-1944), Krula Rav; son-in-law of Rabbi Yitzchok Isaac Weiss, zt”l Hy”d (1875-1944), adored Spinka Rebbe and author of Chakal Yitzchok.

Rabbi Yesochor Dov was the son-in-law of Rabbi Elazar Meisels, zt”l, Uheiler Rav; son of Rabbi Dovid Meisels, zt”l Hy”d (1875-1944), Uheily Rav and author of Binyan Dovid; grandson of Rabbi Dovid Meisels, zt”l (1814-1875), Losker Rav and author of Ahavas Dovid.

The chassan is the son of Rabbi Yosef Yerachmiel Kahane, Tasher Rosh Kollel; son of Rabbi Moshe Elyakim Kahane, Bnei Brak Spinka Rebbe; son of Rabbi Nachman Kahane, zt”l (1905-1976), Bnei Brak Spinka Rebbe; great-grandson of Rabbi Yosef Meir Weiss, zt”l (1838-1909), founding Spinka Rebbe and author of Imrei Yosef.

The chassan is the grandson of Rabbi Meshulim Feish Lowy, revered Tasher Rebbe in Montreal; grandson of Rabbi Elimelech Lowy, zt”l (1865-1941), Tasher Rebbe; son of Rabbi Meshulim Feish Lowy, zt”l (1821-1873) revered founding Tasher Rebbe. The present Tasher Rebbe survived the Holocaust and established his Chassidic court in Nieredhaus, Hungary. In 1951, the Rebbe together with 18 chassidishe families immigrated to Montreal and, in 1963, established Kiryas Tash in Boisbriand, 12 miles from Montreal. The Tasher Rebbe has a tremendous following and thousands of chassidim from all over the world regularly participate in Tasher events.

The aufruf took place on Shabbos Parshas B’ha’aloscha, June 13-14, in the Tasher Beis Medrash in Montreal. The traditional forshpiel held by the students of the Tasher Yeshiva was celebrated on Motzaei Shabbos.

The wedding will take place in Tash and the kabbalas panim will take place in the enlarged Beis Medrash Hisachdus Avreichim for the chassan, and for the kallah in Beis Tzirel hall. The wedding meal will be served for men in the beis medrash and for ladies in Beis Tzirel. In anticipation of participation of the many chassidishe rabbis, roshei yeshiva, and rabbis, a multi-tiered dais will stretch from one end of the beis medrash to the other.

Shabbos Parshas Shelach sheva berachos will be held in Tash, as will most of the sheva berachos. One will take place in New York City, on Tuesday, June 24, at the Vienner Beis Medrash, 2305 Olean Street (at East 23rd Street between Avenues N and O) in Brooklyn, at 8:00 p.m. Massive bus arrangements, as well as chartered air shuttles, have been made for the Shabbos aufruf, chasunah, and all of the sheva berachos.

The Tzibur is asked to please be Mispallel for the Tosher Rebbe Shlita - who was rushed by Hatzolah to Jewish General Hospital in Montreal on Monday morning with severe difficulty breathing. Unfortunately, his condition has deteriorated throughout the day, and is reportedly in critical condition. There will be Minyanim for Tehillim in all Tosher Batei Midrashim 5:15PM EST. Please be Mispallel for Mishulim Fayish ben Tzirel.

The Rebbe who has always davend and helped and had in mind every one is now in a situation where he needs OUR help, our Tehilim that is.

the latest is that the situation is improving b"h but very slowly, it's like Hashem showing us that the tremendous outpour of Tefillos from kllal yisroel worldwidw is accpeted and is working,

But the rebbe needs more Tehilim. Please daven for the Rebbe one of the last pillars left from an old generation, who has never done anything for himself, but gave away even what he didn't have t help his fellow yid, no matter of what background or connection to him.

Boruch Hashem there was good news over Shabbos at the Rebbe, the Tehilim and Mi Shebrach that was said over shabbos by thousands over the world had great impact, and the situation is b"h improving further, although more Tehilim and Tefillo is needed for a full recovery iy"h, the doctors are discussing already the possibility of the Rebbe going home iy"h in a matter of the upcoming days.

Keep those tefillos coming. Continue to say Tehilim for the Rebbe Meshulam Feish Ben Zirel L'refuah Shleima.

Good News! The Rebbe will iy"h hopefully be coming home on Wednesday, It is obvious that the continues tefillos and tehillim is helping the rebbe's improvement.

Keep those Tefillos and tehilim coming, for the Rebbe's full recovery, and Arichas Yomim Veshonim.

May he lead us to great Moshiach very soon, Gezunterheit.

The Rebbe is said to be coming home today iy"h! I will post as soon as I hear that the Rebbe has actually arrived in Kiryas Tosh.

The Doctors all admit that the power of tefillo and the tremendous outpour of Tehilim and prayers have helped the Rebbe Miraculously.

Tasher Rebbe In Tash, Hungary

Rabbi Elimelech Lowy, zt”l (1865-1941), Tasher Rebbe, and grandson of Rabbi Meshulim Feish Lowy, zt”l (1821-1873), first Tasher Rebbe, conducted the last Shabbos and tisch in the city of Tash, shortly before his death on Shabbos Parshas Vayeshev, December 13, 1941.

Rabbi Meshulem Feish Lowy, present Tasher Rebbe and grandson of Rabbi Elimelech, together with many of his Chassidim were in Tash for the yahrzeit of Rabbi Elimelech, 23 Kislev, December 3. The Rebbe, together with his family and attendants and a number of Chassidim, left Montreal by private jet on Motzaei Shabbos Parshas Vayeshev, December 1, and flew directly to Debrecen, Hungary.

At departure, the octogenarian Rebbe’s car was driven straight to the airplane and the Rebbe boarded right there. Coming aboard, the Rebbe washed his hands and recited the Tefillas HaDerech (Traveler’s Prayer), Vayehi Noam, and Iggeres HaRamban. The Rebbe then sat in his seat and opened several seforim, on the bookstand, prepared especially for him.

He sang Zemiros Melaveh Malkah and followed his regular routine as though he were at home with his Chassidim. At daylight, the Rebbe began Shacharis that lasted one half hour past the plane’s landing in Hungary. Only after the conclusion of Shacharis did the Rebbe disembark.

From the airport, the Rebbe was taken directly to his recently refurbished home in Tash, arriving at noon on Sunday. A large group of Chassidim from Europe and Israel awaited the Rebbe. Surprised, the Rebbe was happy to greet them. The Rebbe then immersed in the mikveh in the house that was rebuilt last year and davened Minchah. The mikveh is the latest improvement for visitors and is used all year long. Tefillos and tisch were conducted in the beis medrash that was recently built.

On Sunday evening, when the yahrzeit began, the Rebbe lit many candles. Then, the Rebbe conducted a L’Chayim Tisch. The sacredness of the moment was palpable. Then, the Rebbe rose and danced to the holy songs. Just before the assembled were to go to the Ohel (burial chamber), the Rebbe studied the collective kvittel, which contained the names of his major supporters.

At about midnight, the Rebbe, accompanied by all who were there, went up to the Ohel. He read the tombstone inscriptions and lit many candles. The Rebbe then began recital of Tehillim. For hours, the Rebbe remained standing while he said the words of Tehillim aloud. Everyone there said Tehillim along with the great leader.

Simultaneously, the packed beis medrash in Kiryas Tash in Boisbriand, Montreal, as well as all the students of the yeshiva, followed along through the medium of a telephone hook-up.

On Monday morning, the Rebbe led the Shacharis Tefillos that lasted hours. Minchah and Maariv were also very lengthy. Those assembled paid careful attention, so as not to lose even an iota of what was transpiring in front of them. Late Monday, a yahrzeit seudah was conducted. Between the Divrei Torah and songs, the Rebbe requested that the famous Hungarian Chassidishe song, Sol A Kokosh Mar, be sung.

Rabbi Yitzchok Isaac Taub, zt”l, (1751-1821) founding Kaliver Rebbe, renown as the first Hungarian Chassidishe Rebbe, composed the stirring Sol A Kokosh Mar, to a melody he overheard and purchased from a shepherd. After selling the tune, the shepherd was never able to sing it again.

Other songs were sung in Hebrew, Yiddish and in Hungarian. The Tasher Rebbe then distributed sherayim to each participant.

Then, the assembled recited Tehillim, Chapter 61, aloud, verse-by-verse, emphasizing, verse 6: “Prolong the days of the king, and his years for generations.” Around the world, Tasher Chassidim recite this chapter daily. When the Rebbe left the Ohel to return to his lodgings, he was accompanied by song.

On Tuesday evening, the first night of Chanukah, the Rebbe lit his menorah in the same place his father and grandfathers lit theirs. After many hours of preparations, the clock struck 2:00 a.m. Everyone packed into the rooms adjoining the beis medrash. When the Rebbe pronounced the berachos, the amens were thunderous, causing the walls and ground to shake.

Students at the Tasher Yeshiva in Montreal followed through a telephone hook-up. The Rebbe then sat down and continued the many special Chanukah zemiros, joined by all who were there. The Rebbe then blessed and distributed coins as “Chanuka Gelt.”

The second night of Chanukah was almost exactly the same as the first. During the days of the Tasher Rebbe’s sojourn in his old home, together with his Chassidim, appearances of yesteryear seemed not to have changed. Just as Chassidim 100 years ago came to the shtetl, consulted with the Rebbe, and prayed at the Ohel, so it looked and felt during these special days.

On Thursday, after Shacharis and an early Minchah, the Rebbe left Tash and proceeded to Debrecen where he boarded the waiting private jet. Upon arrival at the airport in Montreal, the Rebbe visited the office of the jet’s owner, wishing him continued success. The Rebbe arrived on Thursday evening at his home in Boisbriand at 10:30 p.m. where the entire population of Kiryas Tash, together with the students of the yeshiva, waited to welcome back their revered leader.

Many of the Tosher Rebbe's talks have been written down in a series of five books entitled "Avodas Avodah."

Two of them are Hebrew language books that explain the weekly Torah portions, and Jewish holidays with practical insights into divine service which are subtitled: Dibros Kodesh.
Two of them are Yiddish language books that explain the weekly Torah portions, and the Jewish holidays with practical insights into divine service which are entitled: Imros Kodesh.
Another is mostly in Hebrew, but has Yiddish segments. It is a compilation of addresses that the Tosher Rebbe has made regarding the Yahrzeit (day of passing) of a large number of Jewish holy men, arranged according to the Jewish calendar. It is subtitled Sichos Kodesh.

I have other favorites that might surprise you.
One is the Tosher Rebbe. His seforim (all called by the name Avodas Avoda) are amazing (There is a set of 2 that is on the Parashah in Loshon Kodesh; there is a set of 2 on the Parashah in Yiddish, and one sefer that goes according he the parashah, but is really a book of addresses that the Tosher Rebbe gave on or around Yartzheits of various tzaddikim, usually Motzei Shabbos).

He usually asks one or two questions on the parashah, and then gives a very geshmake answerwithin a few pages. In the meantime, he usually explains some oranother concept in Chassidus, calling on traditional Chassidus seforim. Then, he'll go for a few more pages giving over some practical mussar based on whatever point dominated the drosho.

He aims straight for the heart, and has a real power. He has a real following. Many Admorim visit the Tosher Rebbe. The Kosover Rebbe spends Shabbos Chazon by the Tosher Rebbe, and brings many of his Chassidim with him.
